Virtual Art Department | Virtual Production Supervision | Studio Operations
For the world premiere of the new Volkswagen .ID Buzz, we were commissioned, as Holobay, as the virtual production department.
This included the technical pre-planning for the LED wall, the camera tracking, content production of the Unreal scenes and media server programming up to the on set support with a team of 8 people. To guarantee a seamless workflow, we put together a team of international experts. Through the different time zones, work could be accomplished around the clock.
During pre-production, we supported the agency and client with our Virtual Production experience. Unreal scenes were edited live in conference calls. In addition to the content, we were also involved in the technical planning of the event. Since we shot on location and not in a studio, this involved organizing hardware and materials from within Germany and Europe.
